Over the summer of 2024, as part of my Google UX Design Professional Certificate, I prototyped and designed final mockups for MedicHub - a product intended to streamline the process of documenting medical information between a patient and their respective health care provider.

This project really allowed me to explore how to prioritize functionality over aesthetic value, especially in the context of choosing which fonts and color palettes best convey the purpose of the product. I was able to use multiple tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Figma to execute on my design ideas, and also put into practice the ideation process of making multiple revisions and incorporating feedback at frequent checkpoints. Something I would improve on for the future would be to incorporate real user research into the project to get more detailed information on what types of features and components would be most useful. If I had more time, I would also revisit this project and maybe add a tracking page for patients to record their prescriptions and send their reports to their individual primary care physicians.
